They were rescheduling Andy's surgery due to an infection in his pancreas. This infection has caused record level fever. This is a major disappointment to Andy because he knows that as soon as he has the surgery he can begin the rehab process. He wants the restrictive neck brace to be removed and the real work of getting better to begin.
Sleep has been a major issue for him. He has been having lots of dream and only fitful sleep. Sleep is very important to the healing process.
Another part of the healing process is being able to eat. They have ordered him to eat a 2,000 calorie diet. This is his greatest workout and extremely exhausting.
Keep praying. God is in control.

Still praying. Will keep praying through the whole recovery process and then some because all that he is going through is bound to be hard for him to cope with at some point in the future. Right now it's all about survival. I know that from when hubs had liver and kidney failure and sepsis. Thanks for the update
